Hello fellow book lovers! Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Elvira but my friends call me Rae, hence the name of my blog, Rae's Book Reviews. I am a book addict. My love for books began back when I was about eight years old. I can remember always going to my neighborhood library and checking out four to five books which I would finish in a matter of days. I used to love to read the Babysitters Club and the Sweet Valley High series. During my teenage years my love for reading dropped off a bit but picked up when I got into college. As a young adult I fell in love with Nicholas Sparks and his many books. I think I was drawn to his writing because his stories always involved romance and I love a good love story. But it wasn’t until I picked up Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight, that I was turned on to Young Adult novels.Now all I read is YA.
I recently discovered the popularity of book blogs where people share their personal thoughts and opinions about books they have read or want to read. After becoming a follower of several blogs, I was inspired to create my own where I too could share my love and enthusiasm for reading YA. It is my hope that people visit my blog and find a book they would like to read.
